The Global and International Studies Department, with the support of other on-campus disciplines, was able to host Pamela Yates and Paco de Onís on campus for a film screening of Borderland: The Line Within. This was an emotional screening that led to a greater understanding of immigration in the United States. The department is thankful for this opportunity and for all those who came to attend both the film screening on January 22, 2025, but also the MLK Talk Back the following morning. Both events allowed for Q&A sessions with the directors and a continuation of the expansion of knowledge for all those involved.
